These rock portraits showcase the same specimen in (4) different ways. Each version shows details and expressions privy to that lens. A reminder of the complexities and impressions that exist should we take the time to view things from multiple perspectives.

While these rocks average 1-3” in actual size, prints are available from sizes 16x20” - 40”x60” as these are meant to be viewed in larger formats.

PROCESS

Each rock, gem, mineral is scanned at a high resolution allowing for large scale expression.

These initial scans are denoted as the collection: 01 PRIMARY

From these initial scans, the following are processed:

02 SECONDARY (Inversions of the 01 PRIMARY versions)

03 TERTIARY (Monochromatic versions of the 01 PRIMARY versions)

04 QUATERNARY (Monochromatic versions of the 03 TERTIARY versions)
